3rd International Conference on Innovations in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICIEEE 2018)

After successful completion of two major International Conferences by Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Guru Nanak Institutions (GNITC & GNIT), Ibrahimpatnam has been conducting 3rd International Conference on Innovations in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ICIEEE 2018) on 24th & 25th August 2018.

The focus of ICIEEE -2018 is to provide an opportunity for all the professional and aspiring researchers, scientists, academicians and Engineers to exchange their innovative ideas and new research findings in the fields of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and its allied disciplines.

A curtain raiser event preconference tutorials were conducted on 21st & 23rd August with invited speakers from industry and academics. The resource persons were Dr. I. V. Subba Rao, Professor GITAM School of Engineering, Hyderabad, Dr. T. Muthu Kumaran – Certified Energy Auditor Technical Manager NSIC, Chennai, Dr. Tennati Madhav - MD Spectrochem Instruments Pvt. Ltd Hyderabad, Dr. Vidya Sagar – Associate Professor-Electrical Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad.

The Conference was presided by the chief guest Mr. Vijay Kumar Gupta, CEO, Kwality Photonics Pvt. Ltd and LED chips industry Pvt. Ltd, Mumbai, and guest of honors Mr. P. Ravinder Goud, Scientist ‘F’, Deputy Project Director DRDL, Hyderabad, Dr. K. Manjunatha Chary, Prof & HOD GITAM University, Hyderabad, Sheldon D. Wallbrown, University Western, New England University, South Asia Representative.

In his inspiring speech, the chief guest advised the researchers, academicians and students that “Engineers have to serve the mankind through innovations by directing the great sources of power in nature for the use and convenience of man”. He also advised the students to do the student internship in the industry to get the practical knowledge in the latest technologies

250 Academicians and Researchers from Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and delegates from Prestigious Colleges, Universities delivered their presentations and thoughts.

Presentations, papers from Japan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Ethiopia, and other countries have contributed towards the Conference.

More than 250 research papers have been received and 60 papers have been accepted for publication in conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published in the UGC recognized journal “Journal of Emerging Technology and Innovative Research (JETIR)”.

A Souvenir and Conference Proceedings with ISBN number have been released through the Chief guest and guest of honor Dr. Manjunath Chary in his keynote he explained the technology and need of LEDs for energy saving and pollution free environment. Mr. Sheldon praised the Indian students and the faster growth in the innovation. The sessions in the conference were chaired by eminent professors, doctorates and scientists.

The Managing Director Dr. H. S. Saini briefed about the present technology in industry, automobile and domestic areas using the efficient systems for pollution free environment.

Sardar G. S. Kohli, Vice-Chairman-Guru Nanak Institutions, Dr. H. S. Saini, Managing Director, Dr. M. Ramalinga Reddy, Director GNITC, Dr. S. Srinath Reddy-Principal GNIT, have participated along with students and faculty members. Professor P. Parthasarathy, Associate Director coordinated the entire conference as Co - Conference chair along with the convener Dr. Kishore, Head EEE department.
