Guru Nanak Institutions, Ibrahimpatnam organized a one day International Event TEDx on Technology, Entertainment and Design on 2nd February 2019 in the indoor AC auditorium in GNIT. This program is sponsored by CtrlS, Gifteria, and hosted by Guru Nanak Institutions.

TEDxGNI is an independently organized TED event at Guru Nanak Institutions, Hyderabad.

The focus of TEDxGNI is to provide an opportunity for all the professional and aspiring engineers and students to exchange their innovative ideas of the theme “The Road Not Taken” a poem written by Robert Frost. This event guides individuals to select a path in life that decides their future.

More than 100 students, engineers and academicians participated in this event from various colleges of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra and other states.

The prestigious program of the event begins with inauguration of the TEDxGNI event with 3D ‘X’ by managing director Dr. H.S. Saini, and sponsors.

Distinguished speakers from various fields Ms. Uzma A Kazmi-Vice President, PNC Bank, USA and Harvard alumni, Mr. Ajinkya Jadhav, a 11 year old prodigy who got a patent under NASA, Ivana Perkovic-travel Bloggers from Netherlands, Ms. Natasha Noel-yogini and social media influencer, Mr. RajeshVagh-CEO of Pharmatutor, Mr. Praveen Korakavi-a polymath and a scientist, Mr. Nikhil Paralikar-Youtuber with the channel The tablaguy and a fusion percussionist, and Ms. Hema Balakrishnana-Founder ColourdEarth participated in this program.

In her inspirational and motivational speech Ms. Uzma A. Kazmi delivered the best talk on “Adversity is good for life”. Mr. Ajinkya Jadhav explained about the ‘Game Theory’ and how mathematics can change the world. Ms. Natasha Noel opened the minds of audience on mental health and how to uplift humans using TEDxGNI platform. Ms. Ivana Perkovic said that how she became a migrant of Netherlands to India because of ‘Mera Bharat Mahaan’ Mr. Rajesh Vagh expressed the best of his experiences and how he became the Pharmatutor from Pizza maker. Ms. Hema Balakrishnan continues uplifting artisans through entrepreneurship.

Sardar G.S. Kohli, Vice-Chairman-Guru Nanak Institutions, Hyderabad, Dr. M. Ramalinga Reddy- Director GNITC, Dr. S. Srinatha Reddy-Principal GNIT graced this occasion. Mr. Amjad Khan, Curator of this program anchored this entire event.
