GNITC-School of Pharmacy celebrated World Pharmacists’ Day with great enthusiasm on 25th September 2017 at its campus. It was inaugurated by Dr P. Suresh, Principal & Associate Director, School of Pharmacy.
Dr T. Lakshmi, HOD of Pharm.D Co-ordinated the event to celebrate the Pharmacist day.
Dr P. Suresh highlighted the role of pharmacists in healthcare with special reference to providing primary and community health care, distribution and dispensing of medicines, manufacturing of quality medicines, enforcing law and regulations, research and innovations support and educate.
The role of Pharmacy council of India in uplifting the status of profession of pharmacy at par with global level was well appreciated.
