Value added Programs

School of Pharmacy is continuously working to enrich student competency by providing the following value added programs:

Pharmaceutical Industrial Training: As part of the academic curriculum it is required for B.Pharm students to get industrial training in any reputed pharmaceutical manufacturing company for a period of one month or a minimum of 200 hours. Training will not only meet the academic requirement but will also give a different practical exposure enhancing knowledge of the student. Well known pharmaceutical industries in and around Hyderabad are providing an opportunity to our students to get trained.

Soft Skills Training: Soft skill is a sociological term relating to a person's "EQ" (Emotional Intelligence Quotient). Soft skills complement hard skills (part of a person's IQ), which are the occupational requirements of a job and many other activities. Soft skills are personal attributes that enhance an individual's interactions, job performance and career prospects. We are providing soft skills training to our students by calling expert professionals from all over the country for a period of 30 to 45 days and Soft skill training is our answer to employability and professional competence scalability.

Guest Lectures: Expert professionals from industry, university and reputed institutions are called for delivering lectures which in turn benefit the students.

Hospital Training: Students are trained in hospital including dispensary, ward rounds, OPD, patient counseling, patient data management, recording patient medication history, inventory control and stock verification as to know and learn the job profile of a qualified pharmacist.
