Guru Nanak Institutions | International Collaborations

Guru Nanak Institutions is well known for Research, Training and Consultancy in multi-disciplinary areas of Engineering and Sciences in India with its 13 Centers of Excellence. The main objective of establishing the centers of Excellence is to provide exposure and participation of faculty and students to the research activities through these centers. It enables the faculty to teach and learn from a higher platform, acquisition of knowledge in newer fields, create specialized product development and testing laboratories with leading edge technologies.

Two short term certification courses are offered:

Introductory course comprising of basic concepts
Advanced course with detailed practical sessions imparting in depth knowledge of the subject

COURSES OFFERED

Non Destructive Evaluation

Faculty members in association with industry will be training and guiding the participants.
Faculties providing training have executed projects sanctioned by All India council for Technical Education and Department of Atomic Energy since 2012.
Training Program will be conducted in a state of art lab consisting of 4-Channel Acoustic Emission setup and Ultrasonic Flaw Detector (A & B Scan) facility for structural health monitoring of metal materials.
Introductory course on ” NDT Level-1″ for 108 hrs @ 6hrs per day for 2 weeks and Advanced course on “NDT Level-II” for 216hrs @ 6Hrs per day for 6 weeks.

Solar Applications

Training and guiding the participants in collaboration with M/s ENELEK industries, Bombay.
Course consists of DC-DC and DC-AC conversion and MPPT Training System for fabrication and product development.
Introductory course for 36hrs@6hrs per day for 1 week including field trip.

Robotics And Industrial Applications

Training in collaboration with Rodolab Technologies Pvt Ltd.
Training will be conducted in the centre of excellence consisting of Pneumatic Section, Electronics section, Fabrication unit, Test and Measurement facility for development of the products.
Introductory course for 108hrs@6hrs per day for 2 weeks and Advanced Course on for 216Hrs@6Hrs per day for 6 weeks.

Big Data

Course centre consists of Big Data Application with 8TB storage node and other accessories, Analyst cloud Stations, Data Analyst licenses for 60 users, Management station licenses, Data Synchronization licenses and RDP licenses.
Advanced course conducted @ 6hrs per day including practical sessions.

Software Development

Students in the area of JAVA programming and students in the area of .NET technologies are eligible for this training program.
Advanced course on .NET and JAVA programming for 25 days @6Hrs per day including practical sessions.

Geomatics Engineering

Arc GIS Bolicenced Software, 70 Desktop systems are available for training.
Advanced course on “Geographic Information Systems (GIS)” for 20 days @ 6 hrs per day.

Embedded Systems/ VLSI Design/ MATLAB Programming

Training program is being conducted in collaboration with Texas Instruments under TI university program.
The center where this course will be conducted consists of MSP430 micro Control kits and 8051 micro control kits for training, VLSI and MATLAB software.
Advanced course on “Embedded Systems/ VLSI Design/ MATLAB Programming” for 15 days @6hrs per day including practical sessions.

Computational Civil Engineering

Staadpro software for 70 users and one server backup for execution of the projects are available for the program.
Advanced course on “STAADPRO MODELING” for 23 days @6Hrs per day.

Mobile Computing

Mobile App Life Cycle Management Tool suite, oMDP client Licenses for 60 users, App development Emulation for OEMS are available for conduction of the program.
Introductory course on “Mobile Application Development” for 108 hrs@ 6hrs per day for 2 weeks and Advanced course on ” Mobile Application Development” for 216 hrs@ 6hrs per day for 6 weeks.

3D Printing

Training in collaboration with m/s Aaha 3D Printers Pvt Ltd.
Indigenous 3D printer with Dual extruder, failed print detection with ded leveling, and dedicated power cut pause resume features are available for training.
Introductory course on “3D Printing, Design and Modeling” for 10 days @6 hrs per day and Advanced course on “CATIA Software 3D Printing, Design and Modeling” for 25 days @ 6hrs per day including practical sessions.

Adobe UI/UX

Adobe UI/UX is a Certification course in collaboration with Adobe Inc. through Adobe Creative Technology Academy (ACTA).
Adobe UI/UX training initially focuses on “Design experience of UI & UX” for 12days and “Development of UI/UX prototypes” later for 8 days.
As a part of the training four real time case study projects will be developed.

Internet Of Things

Adobe IoT Certification course covers two phases of Training and project development trained by Adobe Inc. instructors
Training on the structure and prototyping interface in Adobe XD UI Kits Art boards is for 12days@6hours per day
Training in collaboration with m/s Aaha 3D Printers Pvt Ltd.

Cloud Computing

Certification course in collaboration with Red Hat Inc. through RHA.
The course includes two levels of training and hands-on project experience using high end computer hardware, virtual hardware and software.
80 hours training on fundamentals of Cloud Computing, basics and advanced concepts on Red Hat Linux f
40 hours of training on Open Stack fundamentals, Components, Operating Open Stack Cloud, Core operations, Solution Architect and Develops
