22nd Annual Day Celebrations at Guru Nanak Institutions, Ibrahimpatnam

Guru Nanak Institutions (GNITC & GNIT), Hyderabad, a premier educational group established by Guru Nanak Educational Society in Telangana State organized its 23 rd Annual Day Celebrations on Saturday, 4th May 2024 with fun, humor and entertainment. The institutions’ quality academic performance has earned many laurels including accreditations from prominent bodies of education in India like AICTE, NBA and NAAC. Guru Nanak Institutions which is a pioneer in research, innovations and in pursuance of excellence towards these streams has ranked 101 to 150 band in NIRF Innovation rankings across India.

It’s a matter of pride that the college is eminent for its excellent academic and extra- curricular standards. The college is committed to educate, enrich and excel in imparting top quality professional education. The devoted teaching community of this college is the greatest asset of this college, who endeavor to mentor the students while striving continuously to improve through team work, innovation and research. Prof. Anil D. Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, National Educational Technology Forum (NETF), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), and former chairman All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) attended this programme as the chief guest and congratulated the Guru Nanak Institutions for being the best institution in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) jurisdiction. He advised the students and faculty members to utilize the well equipped Research and Development (R&D) facilities and laboratories provided by the Guru Nanak Institutions (GNI) management to enhance skill sets in the emerging technologies.

Earlier the chief guest visited the AICTE IDEA-Lab at the R&D block and interacted with faculty and students. On this occasion, he inaugurated the prestigious ‘Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) sanctioned by the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and appreciated the R&D activities carried out by the institution. He congratulated the management for their esteemed support for establishing ecosystems on the campus.

Vice-Chairman of Guru Nanak Institutions, Sardar G.S. Kohli, congratulated all the students and faculty for their academic achievements and said that 224 placement drives conducted through online and offline this year and 1324 students got the offer letters though it is recession, which is a great achievement for the institutions. Few of the renowned recruiters for this year include Mu Sigma, Darwinbox, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, TCS, UST Global, HCL, Dhoot Transmission, etc.

Managing Director-Guru Nanak Institutions, Dr. H.S. Saini informed that in the recently conducted AICTE survey, GNI Idea-Labs stood first among Idea Labs in India. He also congratulated all the students and faculty members for their academic achievements. Director-GNITC - Dr. K. Venkata Rao and Principal-GNIT, Dr. S. Sreenatha Reddy, submitted the annual reports of their respective institutions. Joint Director Dr. P. Parthasaradhy, Associate Director Dr. Rishi Sayal, Dean-R&D Dr. S.V. Ranganayakulu, Dean Academics & Dean R&D-GNIT Dr. Sanjeev Sreevastav, Professor-CSE & Dean- Student and Faculty Affairs and coordinator of Annual Day 2024 Dr. Harish Kundra, 1 st Year AD Dr. B. Kedarnath and heads of all departments, faculty and staff participated in these celebrations.

Faculty member’s felicitations were there for their academic achievements and service. Students who got highest percentage of marks in GNIT & GNITC Autonomous examinations were given awards and merit certificates by the management.

The campus was electrified by the student’s performances, rocking programs like dances, songs and skits etc.

Annual Day @GNIT

GNIT bloomed with great festivity on the occasion of Annual Day on 20th April, 2019. The Chief Guest was Mr. P. Surya Praksh, Director, Satyavani Projects & Consultants Pvt.Ltd. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Ch. Dakshina Murthy, Associate Member of CIMA UK, CGMA & IMA CMA (USA). Honourable Vice-Chairman Mr. Gagandeep Singh Kohli, Respected Principal, Dr S. Sreenatha Reddy, Dean-Academics Dr.A.K. Goel graced the occasion.

Dr. S. Sreenatha Reddy, Principal presented the College Annual Report on Academics, various Centres of Excellence, Placements & Training, MOUs, financial grants, faculty and students’ achievements.

Honourable Vice-Chairman, Mr. Gagandeep Singh Kohli addressed the assemblage on the occasion. He congratulated the students on their achievements and wished the final year students for their bright future. He advised the students to update their knowledge and skills for their success.

The Chief Guest Mr. Surya Prakash addressing on this occasion, appreciated the College Management for providing with the state-of-the-art facilities. He exhorted the students to avail themselves of the facilities and opportunities and upgrade their technical skills and soft skills.

The Guest of Honour, Mr. Ch. Dakshina Murthy emphasized the importance of people skills and leadership skills. He advised the students to unleash their potential and improve their leadership skills.

The guests were felicitated by the dignitaries. Awards and certificates of appreciation were presented to the meritorious students, winners in extra-curricular activities. The faculty members and non-teaching staff, who have completed their 5 years of loyal service, were honoured. Cultural events followed.
