Skill-Hub (PMKVY 4.0)

A Skill Hub has been established at Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus as per the directions of AICTE and introduced Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 4.0) program courses, commencing from the 2023-24 academic year. PMKVY stands as the flagship scheme of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) implemented by National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). Since the introduction of the National Education Policy (NEP) in 2020, there has been a renewed emphasis on integrating vocational skill training into the curriculum of higher education institutes.

Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus has been allocated and successfully completed the training of courses of 240 targets under PMKVY 4.0 for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Key Benefits of this Scheme for students.

The government will cover the fees, and upon achieving the passing mark.

The certificate will be automatically mapped with Digi Locker.

Students are eligible for the apprenticeship offered by government institutions.

The objectives of this skill certification and reward scheme are multi-faceted, aiming to:
