The Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) at Guru Nanak Institutions Technical Campus, Hyderabad, is committed to promoting and facilitating the protection, management, and commercialization of intellectual property rights (IPRs) among individuals, businesses, and organizations. This centre aims to provide comprehensive support and services related to various aspects of intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs etc.,

Objectives:

Key objectives of Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) include:

Awareness and Education: Educating stakeholders about the importance of intellectual property rights, their benefits, and the procedures for obtaining and protecting them.

Capacity Building: Enhancing the capabilities of inventors, innovators, entrepreneurs, and businesses to effectively manage their intellectual property assets.

Facilitation of IP Registration: Assisting individuals and businesses in the registration and acquisition of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights through streamlined processes and support services.

IP Commercialization Support: Providing guidance and assistance in commercializing intellectual property assets, including licensing, technology transfer, and monetization strategies.

Enforcement Assistance: Offering support in enforcing intellectual property rights through legal mechanisms, including assistance in filing infringement complaints and pursuing legal actions.
