On March 27, 2024, an enlightening and inspirational motivational session unfolded at the prestigious Indoor Auditorium of Guru Nanak Institutions, orchestrated by Mrs. Gurpriya Singh Kohli, the esteemed organizer and spouse of SardarGangandeep Singh Kohliji, Vice Chairman of Guru Nanak Institutions. The session, facilitated by the renowned motivational speaker Mr.DarpanVasudev, provided profound insights into the realms of emotional and mental wellness, leaving an indelible mark on all attendees.

Divided into two segments, the morning session catered to the students, while the afternoon session was tailored specifically for the esteemed faculty members. Mr. DarpanVasudev, with his adept oratory skills and profound wisdom, captivated the audience from the onset, introducing the concept of "KhushMann," translating to a "happy heart," as a gracious salutation, setting a tone of warmth and positivity that permeated throughout the auditorium.

The session unfolded as a journey of self-discovery and introspection, as Vasudevskillfully navigated through various life-affirming insights and practical tips aimed at fostering emotional resilience and fortitude. Drawing from personal anecdotes and universal truths, he urged attendees to embrace a mindset of growth and adaptability, emphasizing the transformative power of cultivating a happy heart.

A pivotal moment of the session was the introduction of Goodeebags, an innovative startup spearheading the charge towards environmental sustainability through its pioneering waste segregation mobile application. Abhishiek Agarwal, the Founder and CEO of Goodeebags, graced the stage to elucidate upon their groundbreaking initiative, which incentivizes waste segregation and meaningful connections between households and recyclers. Attendees marveled at the ingenuity and dedication behind Goodeebags' mission, applauding their commitment to creating a greener, more sustainable future.

Seminar On International Study And Work Opportunities By Delegates Of GECF

A team comprising Mr. Srinivasa Raju, Regional Manager, Education Matters in collaboration with Global Education Career Forum conducted a seminar on "International Study and Work Opportunities" followed by an interactive session with students of GNI held on 06 March 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Chawla, Dean International Affairs, Guru Nanak Institutions. GECF is supported by the Commissioner of Technical Education and Collegiate Education Telangana. Over 50 students from both GNIT and GNITC and 11 faculty coordinators of various departments participated in this session. Details regarding study and job opportunities in various countries i.e Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States of America, Netherlands. Fee structure, emerging stream, cost of living, visa process, documentation required, and job opportunities in these countries were also discussed. As GECF has collaborated with Guru Nanak Institutions, so the students going through the GECF program will have zero consultation fees. The session ended with answering the queries raised by the students.

A workshop on Time Management was organized by higher authorities on -22nd Feb, 2020. We are fortunate enough to have Prof. M. L. Sai Kumar, former Professor, Institute of Public Enterprise who have imbibed valuable thoughts into the minds of students about the importance of time management. Sir, has focused on the issues like the significance of time management for an individual to become successful in both professional and business life as well.
He has shown some marvelous videos about self-motivation and the success stories of people, who have moved from no- where to some-where in their life. Sir, has made the session, so lively that large amount of interaction has witnessed among the participants on the lines of personality development issues. He insisted students to form groups and to come up with new ideas to test their listening and analytical skills. Students felt extremely happy, for being part of the workshop.

Technical Report - Intelligent Automation Through Machine Learning (Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) & Deep Learning (DL)

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering organized a 3 day National Workshop on “Intelligent Automation through Machine Learning” sponsored by DST-ICPS division for Faculties/Doctorial students/PG students/UG students from 26th to 28th December, 2019.The Workshop is specifically meant for the Schedule Tribe (ST) category, In view to make the participants gain in-depth knowledge in the field of Machine Learning.
Instantaneously good response came from the students and teachers from different academic institutions once the workshop brochure was released. 60 people including teachers and students from the following colleges attended the workshop.

Officials Of University Of Detroit Mercy, Michigan (USA) Visit Guru Nanak Institutions For An Interaction Session

A team comprising Ms. Weihong Sun, Director International Admission, University of Detroit Mercy conducted an interactive session with students of GNI held on 29 January 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Pamela Chawla, Dean International Affairs, Guru Nanak Institutions. Over 60 students from both GNIT and GNITC and 10 faculty coordinators of various departments participated in this session. Ms. Weihong Sun, Director International Admissions, University of Detroit Mercy was the keynote speaker. Ms. Sun gave a brief introduction about the University, its locations and various programs it is offering to the International Students, Data and Documents required for enrolling in the graduate program, MBA program and for taking transfer, salient features of University like University of Detroit Mercy is a 179 Ranked University in the US, School of Business Administration of the University ranks 16, All the graduate and masters programs of university of Detroit Mercy are ABET-accredited and the university has several other accreditations. Famous tourist attractions near the University were also discussed by Ms. Weihong Sun and finally, the session was winded up by answering all the queries raised by students regarding the admission process.
